DENDRIC ESTATE ANNOUNCES FIRST LINE OF DRY CIDERS AVAILABLE THIS JUNE
KAMAS, Utah (Jan. 16, 2025) —
The New Year brings fresh preparations to Utah’s Dendric Estate, who are readying the release of their first premium dry ciders in June 2025. Keep up with the evolving life cycle of Dendric Estate and its line of ciders at @dendricestate on Instagram and TikTok.
“As the New Year kicks off, our team is hard at work with the production and release of Dendric Estate’s first dry ciders,” said Dendric Estate Co-Founder Brendan Coyle. “I’m thrilled at how the batches are progressing through the winter. This maturation stage of our process is important for driving complexity in the final product, and we’re right on track.”
2024: A Year of Foundation and Growth
The team successfully planted an additional 950 trees, raising the total number to 3,240 trees of 33 varietals on 3 acres. The next large plantings will take place in 2026 and 2027 to fill the remaining 12 acres of planned orchard space. Construction of the modern production house was completed in early fall. Production equipment was installed and commissioned in time for the inaugural crush and press season, when nearly 100,000 pounds of fruit from three partner orchards were processed in October and November.
The design and engineering phase for the future on-premise tasting room was completed and is now in the contractor bidding phase. Furthermore, Dendric Estate launched its website and social media presence.
Winter Operations
With primary fermentation from fall 2024’s crush and press season complete, the juice is currently undergoing secondary fermentation in the cellar. This stage of the process utilizes a traditional wine technique known as “Bâtonnage,” stirring and lifting the yeast back into suspension to develop more body, structure and complexity in the cider. The team is finalizing label designs for the first products and meeting with local accounts to offer a behind-the-scenes look at operations. Plans for the future tasting room continue to progress, with the goal of breaking ground in the spring.
Product Releases
Dendric Estate’s first products, slated to be available in June 2025, will be charmat method sparkling dry ciders, produced from the fall 2024 harvest. Available in both 750ml and 375ml bottles, these ciders drive their complexity from a delicate balance of tannins and acids which result in crisp and vibrant profiles. Dendric Estate products will be available in their home state of Utah this spring, with regional expansion and direct-to-consumer online sales available shortly after.
